For our friends old and new, we’d like to let you in on a Thanksgiving tradition we have at Eone. It’s something we’re very proud of, and what makes it even better is that you’re a part of it too!
If you’ve been with us for a while, you might remember that Thanksgiving is when we express our gratitude for our success by paying it forward. And with family, friends, and loved ones who are blind, we’re eager to support organizations that promote accessibility, independence, and confidence for people who are blind.
That’s why we started a Thanksgiving tradition we like to call You Give, We Give.
Every year, we donate 100% of our Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday profits to an organization aligned with our values. And this year, for the third year in a row, we’re donating all of our profits during this time to The Seeing Eye — the world’s oldest guide dog training school.
So when you buy a Bradley on November 24-25, you’ll know that the timepiece on your wrist helped put a harness in the hand of someone who is blind. And as an added bonus, we’re offering 15% off all timepieces with code GIVINGBACK.
Let’s take a look at what our Eone community contributed toward since we went all-in for The Seeing Eye last Thanksgiving:
- 289: the number of dogs The Seeing Eye has trained in 2016. The dogs must successfully complete the four-month training program before they are paired with a person who is blind.
- $65,000: the cost of training one Seeing Eye dog. That includes everything from raising and training the dog, matching a dog with its new owner, teaching the owner how to work with the dog, equipment, transportation, and support services throughout the dog’s service.
- 2: the number of days to make your purchase go further. Help us support The Seeing Eye as we donate 100% of our profits November 24-25.
Giving back is in our DNA and has been a part of what we do from the beginning. We’re proud to support The Seeing Eye throughout the year, but we’re even more excited to give everything we get on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
To our friends old and new, thank you for your continued support. Happy Thanksgiving!
